Oil Spill
That's me folks. Remember this; I took action and participated in a project to raise awareness. Over a year after the oil spill, the photos were displayed at 1310 Gallery, Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts.
Other cool art that was displayed at 1310 Gallery. These are made out of paste bottles. Very clever.
Yeah. Those are toilet paper rolls. I also think it looks like bamboo. Pretty cool.

uncommon gallery meets south florida camera.
nerissa street (on the left hand side) is an artist with passion. as seen in the photo she was showing us a video. of her project "Beyond The Lucky Break docu-series. It's a film and social media series that follows people in successful, nontraditional careers". I can't wait for her to share it with the rest of the world. 
South Florida Camera Club has a theme of a picture every month for members. for the month of august it was travel. the winner of the monthly photographic competition was Vionette Torres. how awesome that she took this photo in europe. very lucky lady. Congrats! the feeling must be out of this world.Oil Spill

this was an important project for me to be involved in. i wanted to help. it was a thought that became a reality. i wanted to do something other than watch the horror in contaminating our gulf.
