my favorite colombian artist, Fernando Botero, is known for painting well-rounded people. this summer we were lucky enough to see a few of his sculpture outsides the museum (Museo de Antioquia) where his art is featured. i've been there once before but this time around we didn't have enough time to make it inside. i think mike liked the way that worked out.
there was an market near the museum where we found canvas printed Botero paintings. i immediately knew that the two would be perfect for our bathroom.
just this week i got around to finding frames and hanging them. they aren't hung straight or perfectly. however, i think the imperfection adds to their allure.
